My “Dragonfly GunMetal Gala Dress “won 1st place and the American Sewing Guild Award at the San Diego County Fair!! What an honor!! My aprons won first and second place….Such a treat.  I am truly astonished to receive such an distinguished award when I still carry some of that childhood insecurity, since I failed Home Economics in Junior high for both sewing and cooking….Still can’t cook!!
